Getting to Morelia
From México City : On arrival to Benito Juárez International Airport be sure to hire the authorized taxis. The authorized taxis are white and yellow and have the airport logo. There are several Taxi Huts within the airport. Please ask to be taken to the Central de Autobuses de Oriente ( Central Observatorio ) and expect to be charged approximately 20.00 US dollars. We recommend you to take the ETN coaches (colored silver and blue) to get to Morelia (around 30.00 US and 4 hours non-stop journey). The coaches leave every 45 minutes approximately.
From Guadalajara: On arrival to the Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla International Airport t ake the authorized taxis to get to the Central de Autobuses and expect to be charged around 20.00 US dollars; once there, we recommend you to take the ETN coaches (colored silver and blue) to get to Morelia (around 30.00 US and 3 hours non-stop journey). The coaches leave every 45 minutes approximately.
IMPORTANT NOTE: In Mexico City try not to take taxis in the street, it is not safe. Always ask your hotel to order a taxi for you.
